SharePoint and Office 365 help content can be consumed in many different media formats as well as delivered in many different ways. We have found that when you see context sensitive help compared to the old school way of providing help, it is clear which way is more efficient and effective for the entire team.
Many years ago, I came to the conclusion that thoroughly training end users on SharePoint is a waste of time for both the users and the trainer.
